Offence: Driving whilst using a mobile phone
Ms P contacted Millar’s Solicitors having been summonsed to Court in relation to an allegation of driving whilst using a handheld mobile phone. Ms P had pleaded not guilty and her case was listed for trial. Paul Turner advised the client that she had a very strong case. Ms P’s case was fully prepared for trial including obtaining witness statements. Following the trial before Norwich Magistrates Court, Ms P was found not guilty and was awarded a defendants costs order.
